The refrigeration unit is driven by the truck engine to drive the compressor to perform refrigeration and defrosting. And according to the user's needs, the compressor driven by the motor can be selected to operate for refrigeration and defrosting (referred to as the backup power device). The system consists of at least three separate components: condenser, evaporator and compressor. The compressor is mounted on and driven by the truck engine. Use refrigeration hoses or pipes to connect condensers, evaporators, compressors and other components. The backup power device also has another compressor, a motor and an oil separator, etc., which are ready to be driven by the power supply. The engine compressor is driven by the engine via a belt. The power-driven compressor and the engine-driven compressor are connected in parallel. The power-driven compressor is driven by a motor belt. Both the refrigeration unit and the cab air conditioner compressor use the same refrigeration system circuit.

During operation, the one-way valve isolates the two compressors. The operation of the compressor is controlled by the controller. The device supplies power to the compressor clutch of a refrigerated vehicle or starts the motor when the engine is running, and supplies power to the compressor clutch when the power supply is running. The entire refrigeration system is protected by a pressure cut-off switch.
