The air conditioner is only producing hot air.
Symptom: When the air conditioner is turned to the lowest setting, hot air is still coming out of the vents.
Fault Analysis: First, check whether the air conditioner compressor is engaged.
Upon turning on the air conditioner, the compressor briefly draws air, causing a severe engine shudder.
Then, the compressor disconnects, and the fan runs at high speed, but the fault persists.
Using the IDS to read the fault code, the high-pressure pressure is 12 bar when the air conditioner is not turned on,
then rises to 32 bar when the air conditioner is engaged.
Connecting a mechanical pressure gauge to check the pressure in the air conditioner line is close to the high-pressure sensor pressure.
This fault is suspected to be caused by an overfill of refrigerant.
After refrigerant recovery, the refrigerant weight was found to be 1.1 kg,
while the standard filling amount is 0.65 kg.
This vehicle was overfilled with refrigerant at the factory.
